2. What data we collect and why
We only collect personal data that you actively provide to us. The table below describes each collection point, the data involved, and our purpose.
- Newsletter subscription — When you subscribe to our newsletter via the form on the Insights page, we collect your email address. We use this to send you our editorial content on IT transformation, AI and digital strategy. The legal basis is your freely given consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Waiting lists — When you sign up for a waiting list for any of our products or services, we collect your email address and any information you provide in the sign-up form. We use this solely to contact you about access, availability and onboarding for the relevant product or service. The legal basis is your freely given consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- General contact enquiries — When you email us directly or use a contact link on this site, we collect the information you choose to share (typically your name, email address, and the content of your message). We use this to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — specifically, responding to a message you have sent us.
- Website analytics — We may collect anonymised data about how visitors use this website (pages visited, time on site, referral source) in order to improve our content. Where such data constitutes personal data, the legal basis is legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
3. How we store and process your data
Newsletter subscriptions and waiting list sign-ups are processed through Odoo CRM (Odoo S.A.), our customer relationship management platform. Odoo processes data on servers located within the EU/EEA and operates under a Data Processing Agreement with us. You can review Odoo's privacy practices at odoo.com/privacy.
Email enquiries sent directly to us are stored in our email system and may be referenced in our CRM for the purpose of managing the client relationship.
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. How long we keep your data
- Newsletter subscribers — We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every newsletter, after which your data will be deleted within 30 days.
- Waiting list entries — We retain your data until the relevant product or service becomes available and you have been contacted, or until you request removal, whichever comes first.
- Contact enquiries — We retain correspondence in order to maintain a record of our interactions for a period of 5 years after the latest correspondence, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
5. Your rights under GDPR
As a data subject in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights regarding your personal data held by us:
- Right of access — You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure — You can ask us to delete your personal data. We will comply unless we have a legal obligation to retain it.
- Right to restrict processing — You can ask us to pause processing your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to data portability — You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to withdraw consent — Where processing is based on consent (e.g. newsletter subscription), you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Right to object — You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@iwow.se. We will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish supervisory authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), at imy.se.
